We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

• When you contact us or fill in an enquiry or assessment form: your name, phone, email, address or suburb, and details about your home, power bills, energy use and the system you're interested in.
• When you become a customer: information we need to quote, install and look after your system, and to apply for any rebates or finance you ask us to help with.
• When you visit our website: information collected by cookies and similar tools (see section 3), such as pages viewed, the device and browser you use, approximate location, and how you arrived at our site.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health or religious information.

2. How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and install and support your system.
• To keep records in our customer management system.
• To send you information about our products and services. You can opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
• To understand how people use our website and improve it.
• To show you our ads on other sites and apps, including Google and Facebook/Instagram (see section 3).
• To meet our legal obligations.

3. Cookies, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including: - Google Analytics 4, with Google signals turned on. This helps us see how visitors use the site. It also lets us build audiences so we can show our ads to people who have visited, across Google services and partner sites (remarketing). - The Meta pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when you visit or take actions on our site. We use this to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited.

We don't sell your personal information.

4. How to opt out

• Your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well.
• Google: you can turn off personalised ads in My Ad Center, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Meta: you can manage your ad preferences in Facebook ad settings.

5. Who we share it with

We only share what's needed with: - service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and customer management platform (GoHighLevel), email, analytics and advertising providers (Google, Meta), and IT providers - installers, suppliers and network or metering providers involved in your installation - finance providers such as Brighte or Plenti, if you ask us to help you apply for finance - government agencies or scheme administrators when you apply for a rebate or program through us, or when the law requires it

Some of these providers, including Google, Meta and GoHighLevel, may store or process information overseas, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

6. Keeping it safe

We store your information in secure, password-protected systems and limit access to people who need it. We delete or de-identify information we no longer need, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

8. Complaints

If you have a concern about your privacy, please contact us first and we'll try to fix it. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992.
