Commercial batteries
Store daytime solar for use later in the day and help reduce peak demand charges. We’ll look at your usage pattern and tell you honestly whether a battery stacks up for your business.
NSW discount for business batteries
Businesses installing a battery of 20 kWh or more may be eligible for a NSW Government discount under the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme. The discount is bigger when new solar goes in at the same time, but solar panels on their own don’t qualify. We check your eligibility, apply the discount for you and show it on your proposal.
- Batteries from 20 kWh up to large systems over 200 kWh, for businesses and other non-residential sites. Homes and data centres aren’t eligible.
- For the bigger discount, new solar needs to be installed within 90 days of the battery and be at least a quarter of the battery’s capacity.
- A minimum customer contribution and other eligibility criteria apply. We’ll set it all out clearly.
